Louise, Thanks, thats very helpful. You didn't come across the marriage of Arthur Darling & Jane, did you.. I also noticed that in 1901 the eldest is Daniel, but in 1891 it is Robert, perhaps he was Daniel Robert or vice versa. Ken

i had noticed that too but when i looked at the proper census screen his dad is a contractor(cartman) and jane from same place so i wonder if it was middle name? just lookin for wedding for u do u need anything else?

Can't find a marriage on the partially transcribed index, but there is this marriage on the complete index:- Arthur Darling June qtr. 1887, Wandsworth, 1d, page 814 (or 834) not clear Without a surname for Jane, I can't cross reference it, but you could order and give Jane's first name as a checking point.
