I have found 4 siblings on the IGI (extracted records), & in all 4 cases the father & mother’s full names are both shown, i.e. mother’s ‘maiden’ name & married name. The children have been baptised with the father’s name. Does anybody know if this is an indication that the parents were not married? (I am unable to find a marriage record). Thanks in advance. It could be that, but I think some non-conformist churches gave both names. Or were they ''submissions'' rather than Parish Register batches (C######, P######, E###### might cover Baptisms - and poss some others J/K? - M###### is marriages). Christine |

Hi Christine Thanks for the reply. The baptisms were at Holy Trinity, Clapham, Surrey & were definitely PR batches (C********). Angela |
