Having further researched my dads side of my tree i have come up with more possible names of potential relatives but dont know where to look next! Martin Ball and Helen Edmondson Children John (march 1915), Winifred (sept 1917) and Martha (1919 - 1953) Martha married Clifford Dawson in 1939. Children Peter (my dad) (1942-1999) and Joseph Martha died of T.B in Lundwood Hospital on New Years Eve 1953. Clifford remarried a Winifred Parry in 1959. They had several children. On the other side: Leonard Dawson and Sarah Hannah Tector Marriage oct-nov-dec 1897 Bolton Leonard was a Bolton coal Miner and Sarah a Gorton Cotton Quilt Weaver. On the 1901 census Leonard was age 23 and Sarah 24, There was also a Harry Hector Dawson age 3. The address on the census is 51 Price St Civil Parish Farnworth Town or Village or Hamlet Farnworth Ecclesiastical Parish St Johns Farnworth Farnworth Lancaster Clifford also had Brothers John (2nd qtr 1913) Bolton Ernest, Leonard - Not known births and a sister Edie (Edith?)

Hi, You won't definitely know if the registered birth is correct unless you send for the certificates as pre 1911, mother's maiden name is not listed however pre 1911 I have found a possible Leonard and there is only 1 listing for a Leonard in Bolton, that is where John was born and there are a number of Edith's but one is Edith Helen and wasn't that 1 of mum's names.
