Ah, thank you. The chap in question was rejected a pension, it doesn't say why though. |

Hi I have just googled you are indeed right with the word you saw disembodiment also has the smae meaning as Demobilsed as in DEMOBED, See this website point 7 http://www*militarybadges*org.uk/mimage/mrolls.htm Replace * with a full stop Wendy |

I'm very sure. It read date of discharge, date of disembodiment and date of transfer to reserves. First and last were crossed through. They're typed so it's very clear. |

Am I right in thinking this would mean date of death? It's on a discharge paper in the Ancestry Army Pensions.........thanks, Liz |
