I got the marriage certificate today and father is down as Timothy ,quite how you get murphy from timothy i don't know must have been the bottle of whiskey the transcriber had before hand. Timothy was a fishmonger . again thank you for all you help. regards Lizz ps still can't find him though not even a death.
