For years I have been trying to find a relative in Wolverhampton. I have now found she died in 2004.On the death cert her daughter is the informant,so I have an address even though it is 3yrs old. Any advice please on how to word the letter, explaining who I am,the last time I visited was 1959 when the daughter was only 7yrs old.My problem is I tend to ramble a bit ,I need to be concise and to the point. Any advice or suggestions please. Regards Gwyn |

Hi Gwyn Hmmmmm - I see your problem. I am assuming you don't want the daughter to know you have a copy of the death certificate? If that is the case, perhaps a little white lie? and say you found her by checking the electoral role? Otherwise a little rambling can be endearing and just tell it as it is. Victoria |
