does anyone know - if the husband died while his wife was pregnant, would his name still be listed as the father on the birth cert? His death and my reli's birth are close together, just wondered if he was really the father, or was baby conceived after husbands death, and wife did not want to broadcast it, as the space for fathers name is blank. thanks for any suggestions vicky

The husband would usually be named on the birth certificate with 'deceased' after his name if he was the father. No father listed usually means the child was illegitimate. Kath. x
