I want to print some things from Ancestry....How can I just print what I can see on the screen without all the back bits round it. It's going to take a lot of ink...Is there a way?....Linda |

Hi George, I just want to get rid of all the black round the edge of the page. I am sure there's a way but can't remember how to do it. Thanks linda |

Hi Linda, Take the mouse pointer to the first word then hold down on the left click of your mouse. Run the pointer down all of the text you want printing. All the text should be highlighted in blue. When you have that, release the left click and press the right one on your mouse. A box should come up and click on print. A 'Print' box should appear giving you options, click on 'Selected' and that should do the trick Merv |

Why not save the images to your hard drive, then open them in any image programme (you should find one in windows or you can download one for free, Irfanview is very good) then crop the black off. You can also sharpen up the poorer images. I find it very useful to save the images, I can then zoom in on harder to read details. I Keep all the images on an external hard drive, but they can also be burnt to CD or DVD if you don't want to clogg up your hard drive, then you always have them to refer to again Jennifer |

Aha, Is it an image you're try to print off ? If it is, right click on the image and select Save and make sure where you're saving it to. From there you can simply print it off. Merv |
