Hi, Anyone else with Tiscali having problems yet again???? I can receive messages in to my Outlook Express but I can`t send any messages out. I`m wondering if it`s the same problems they had a couple of months ago - but denied until Radio 4 got hold of the story. I`ve rung India (enough said) and they say no problems. Error messages -- Connection was unexpectedly terminated and cannot find server and it`s been 3 days now. Any ideas, anyone? Jay.

Don't know your setup but ..... With NTL this problem was solved by powering down both the pc and the set top box completely. Wait a minimum of 30 seconds and then power back up - go off for coffee, water the tomatoes, have a sandwich and by about then the comp and box are functioning correctly. (Cheese and fresh tomato sandwich with salad cream). With Demon out here in the sticks about once every six months I need to power down the router. Waiting time is only long enough to make coffee though. Any sign of heavy traffic and our signal is so weak we're off - all those office workers checking in at 9.0 and 14.00, clearing their outgoung emails at 11.55 and 16.30 - bang no connection! C

Hi Clive. I`ve tried that at intervals over the 3 days with no joy at all. Think I`ll end up changing my ISP as last time Tiscali had problems it lasted about 3 weeks or so. Anyone any recommendations for a decent server? Jay.

There was a thread about this a couple of weeks ago. The one thing that was agreed was keep away from BT. There were one or two recommendations mainly based on price - but these can be expensive if you have someone who dowloads music, videos etc. I have demon which is as good as the BT line it comes on which means a bit marginal as we are out in the sticks.
