Hi Tricia, At the top of the page you are looking at, click on the next page arrow like you would with a census page for example. Keep going until you come to a page that says NEW FILE which is the start of the next person. Janice

Hi Please can you tell me where to find the new file bit. I have tried several views but can not see it or is it that the ones I have looked at just happen to only have one page. Tricia

Thanks for tip. Yesterday I found what I thought was quite good info about a great uncle, just 1 page. Went back today and there are 6 pages which give all sorts of info including address in 1915, ht, wt, hair col etc. Exact age ie 18yrs and 125 days. It looks as if when you find the image you need to go from the page that says 'New File' up to the next 'New File' page which could be 6-8 images in between all relating to the same person. Fascinating stuff, I recall from when doing some health studies that when men had to have medicals for WW1 it was appalling how bad their health was and this was a kick start for our NHS etc. These records prove that and how puny some of the men were. This g uncle was for instance only 5'3' at age 18. Thanks again.

Heather, They have updated the pension records, and I've just tried entering a variety of surnames and all letters of the alphabet seem to be there. Kath. x

I knew hubbys grandad Alfred Smith was in the army, and I knew his army number, so I typed it in, and got three pages of results, great I thought this is fantastic, then I thought well he had a long career in the army there’s not a lot there, so I went back and searched again, just with his name and I then came up with another 13 pages and I knew it was the right Alfred Smith as it noted his wife and children’s names, even his death cert was on there of 1949 which amazed me. So when searching through those pages remember there may be more then you think. It’s a long search especially with the name Smith, but omg, am I chuffed I have just found out so many things about his military career. I have also found another family member but not under his birth name, he had an alias, and I know it’s the right one as it states my gt grandparents and their address on the papers.
