Purchasing marriage certificates - please help

Hi Gill, IIf you know the exact parish where the marriage took place you can send to east Yorkshire for it or telephone GRO or go on line and order, you pay £7 plus stamped addresed env' if you send for it local , I think £8 if you ring GRO or £7 online. Gill

Hi. I have the details of a marriage in Howden, East Yorkshire in 1846 and want to order a copy of the certificate. Can someone please tell me where I can get this from and how much it will cost? Many thanks Gill
