Thanks to Linda G I now know when my grandmother sailed from Plymouth and the name of the ship she sailed to Fremantle on. I would also like to find out, if possible, the name the ship my grandfather, who preceded her, sailed on. I am pretty sure he sailed on 22nd December (I could be a day out either way) 1912. He was not a fanciful man but even HE thought that sailing back into Plymouth 7 years almost to the minute (6am) since he left was rather amazing. And I am pretty sure that that date since his daughter died within two days of arrival. So, is there anywhere on-line where I could find the lists of ships arrivals and departures from Plymouth at that time? Being as I am in Australia, visiting a library isn't an option currently. Thanks Clive - I'll give it a try. Shame it has been so long since I posted a request that I forgot about the lack of formatting!! Victoria
