I have 5 different trees on FTM - my own, and 4 for other people who I have been helping from time to time. I just make sure that if I'm working on one of the other trees that I click on 'file' and close that one and open my own tree before I close the program, that way it always opens up in my own tree. I just add them to my own tree by clicking on people then add unrelated individual.

Click on File, New, that will create another database within FTM. Remember though that FTM will open on the last file it used so make a note of where your first file is stored so that you can navigate to it to open it again. Ron www.genealogyprinters*com

Hi Just wondering is it possible to start a new family tree on your FTM? Its nothing to do with my own family, this is for history purposes so I would have 2 Family trees on the go. but from the one FTM (hope that makes sense) Much appreciated. Yvonne
