I found the information on John and Sarahs wedding on the familysearch website but it didn't mention the fathers names. Is the BVRI something that you have to buy or is there anyway you can search it online? Dawn

Dawn, do you have the marriage of John Grayson & Sarah Debman? It's from BVRI: John Grayson, age 21, married Sarah Debman, age 17, 15 June 1875, Goodramgate Holy Trinity, York, Yorkshire. Husband's father George Grayson. Wife's father Frederick Debman.

Hi Alison Unfortunately this is not the same family. My George Henry was definately born in York. I have just sent for his birth cert in hope of some clues. Thanks for looking though. Dawn

I am trying to find my Great Grandad George Henry Grayson on the 1891 census with no luck and was wondering if anyone could give me a hand. He was born in 1888 in York, North Yorkshire. His parents were Sarah and John Grayson, and I have found them living in York in 1891 with his elder brother and sister. But I can't find George. I know John died in 1891 and in 1892 Sarah married George Thompson the familys lodger on the 1891 census. I can't find them in 1901 either. In 1901 my G Grandad was living with his aunty Elizabeth Neal and grandad Frederick Debnam, but not in 1891??? Any ideas anyone??? Thanks in advance Dawn
