Linda It is not an index as such. to search for the name I would need to know a parish. the names are listed in parishes, also a rough date that you are interested in would help as the records go from 1400 in some cases to 1837. Ann Glos

Ann I've downloaded the joining instructions so might get round to sending it. 1818 actually could be right - it would make him 12yrs older than his wife - if Iv'e got the right death certificate for the wife that is! Its a shame the index does'nt give occupations but I suppose that would be too easy. Jean

Jean, Yes I do, they have a very interesting quarterly magazine and the staff in the office are really friendly and helpful. Sorry what i found wasn't useful, but keep it they may fall into place sometime Ann Glos

I have the CD of Hampshire burials 1400 - 1837. I am happy to do look ups for anyone. Should add that all it gives is name and reg district. As I often don't look at this board for a couple of days, now this thread has been resurrected, it would be ebtter if you contacted me via messages so that I pick up your queries. Thanks Ann Glos
