Thanks Jeanette and Sandra. I have a full set of 1881 CDs But strangely enough I cannot get the info I want from them. I was hoping I could find a certain road in Essex and find the rest of the household-but alas, no help. I have found the family concerned, but the wife was not at home at the time of the census :-( Thanks again for taking the time to answer Viv |

you can also try FreeCEN. just found them today. pretty good access for 1851 - 1891 though some results not found. sandra |

There's the census' online. 1881 on family search (free) 1891 at Ancestry (you have to pay for this one) 1901 online (this is pay per view) Hope this helps Jeanette |

Is there any way to view household lists on line? especially from 1880-1948? |
