Siobhan, Did you get my e-mail? Well, if you are planning a trip in November - we are planning a lunch. Would love to meet you. Have you been to New Register House in Edinburgh? Regards Margaret

I love scotland, especially Edinburgh, My Grandmother lives there my Uncle lives in Linithgow. I don't get up there half as much as I would like to, but when I do, it's brilliant

I think when you make that trip to Edinburgh you will need to come for two days as that is also really well worth the visit. They have very detailed maps of really remote places. I have had some great copies form them for a small fee. Your right about the lack of Scots on here. I can tell by the lack of response to the lunch :0( Regards Margaret

This site is well worth a visit for those of you with Scottish rellies. It's the National Library of Scotland Site. The Library its self is well worth a visit too if you are ever in Edinburgh. There is also a feature in one of the Family Tree magazines (Nov issue) about it. http://www.nls(.)uk/digitallibrary/map/index.html Regards Margaret
