AS a paid up member, when you want to email someone, do you actually get the name of the person you are contacting? The reason I ask is that some relatives have begun their family tree and as we have already shared information I don't need to email them! |

Hi Helen, It will give you the first name of the person. You would get a first and surname if they replied to your e-mail. Regards Margaret |

Hi At the first sterp - ie the reply box - it gives you a christian name. If you then go to Your contacts - it shows "you contacted *** *** about *** ***" it will also show date. Also a chance to look at original message. You should get a email to your own inbox saying you contacted ***. Hope this helps and makes sense. Liz |
