Linking trees - what happens please?

Just that really! If I link a tree what does it do to my tree and theirs? - I don't think my neice and nephew want all the information on my tree Thanks Sylvie |

basically, when you go into 'your tree' a little symbol appears, two rings, on the name that links your trees. When you click on it , it shows the other persons names and tree, from that person. Steph |

Have two links, but must admit, I've never had to unlink. Therefore, haven't got the foggiest!! Anyone else know? Steph |

I did unlink someone who I am fairly sure had no connection to my tree. I did it by deleting her from my contact list. Maggy |
