Hi Max I am off to a Birmingham Archives, tommorrow to see if I can trace some info on my grandfather. It's the one you looked up for me at the FRC. He was a twin and his twin died. Well I basically was looking for some advice, cos it is going to be a complete disaster otherwise, never been to these archive places and I can see myself giving up. My grandfather was born at Maternity Hospital, Loveday street in Birmingham and the records are held at the archives, what kind of information will I find on these. any other advice on what I should be looking for etc, so that I can trace my grandfathers roots would help me alot. Regards, Siobhan |

Thanks for the info max I think that will really help me tommorrow. I am fully prepared now. I have spent the day sorting out all the info I have already gathered and it is all neatly filed now, now scraps of paper lying about anymore. Bet it won't last long though. Is there anything I can look up for you tommorrow that will be of any use. |
