Hi Lynda Yes the 1871 is partially indexed, mine has 62,000 entires (it's the 1st release, for comparison the 1891 3rd release has 1.3 million). I got it from S&N Genealogy supplies just this weekend. www.GenealogySupplies.com and it cost £5. If you don't buy the census from them it costs more and if you help with the transcribing it comes free! Sylvie |
