Any person marrying over the age of 21 will normally be listed as 'of full age'. bob |

Hi, 12 for girls and 14 for boys. It was, however, unusual to marry that young and parental permission was required. The "average" age to marry was late teens early twenties (women) and early to mid twenties for men. Hope this helps, Gwynne |
