I have sent you an e-mail Maz. I don't live near London, but sometime would like to go to visit the Hammersmith area. I don't think that my wife would be very appreciative though.

Do you know where hubby died? If so maybe you could trace his grave and she may be buried with him. If you have an address and are not London based, I can look up nearest cemetaries and let you know contact details for searches. E-mail me direct if you need this as I have 'a little book'!! Maz. XX

I am trying to find the death of Eliza Keen born in Bucks but lived mostly in Hammersmith. In 1881 I found her and husband Thomas as "Keene". In 1891 I found them as "Keen", she was aged 59. He died in 1892/3. In 1901 I can not find her. In 1901 there is an Eliza Keen of the right age from Bucks living in Bucks, but I think that this is one of the 2 Eliza Keen of about the same age living in Bucks on the 1881 census. Her house from 1891 is occupied by her daghter and family in 1901. I assume then that my Eliza Keen died between 1891 and 1901. I have looked through deaths between 1891 and 1901 on 1837online and only found one possibility in 1896. This is in Hemel Hempstead so I think that it is probably one of the other 2 Eliza Keen one of whom was born in Watford and lived in Amersham in 1881. Is anyone able to come up with any suggestions? Should I just carry on trawling 1837 online in case she was missed off the 1901 census? I have already done a couple of years and believe that I found that the Eliza Keen who was around in 1901 died in Wycombe in 1902. Should I carry on?
