thanks theresa....think i may have to order the certificate from scotlands people to find out who there parents were. trouble is i have already ordered 2 this month...so it will have to wait till next month :o) |

My mistake for looking up the wrong name Siobhan. Sorry, still no marriage for Marr and Newlands. There are a couple of births for Alexander Marr in Scotland . 1 in Liberton 1845, 1 in Coatbridge 1843 and 1 in Edingburgh 1852. The Edingburgh one is listed as Alexander Mars. None of these list a second name. If they are of any use, let me know and I will post them. |
