That makes sense as I'd always wondered why both signatures on my copies look like they've been written by the same person - probably becaused they have!! |

I think the original certificate stays with the couple - all the others are written by the registrar and they are the ones you would get copies of so the signature wouldn't be hers I think ...............am I right, someone will know Sylvie |

Peoples signatures do change as they get older, perhaps she was very young with the first signature. Ann Glos |

Just been looking through my Marriages Cert and wittness on a James was his sister.That ok But on her cert the signature look diffrent same name Mary Jane do you think she change it in 5 years or was it nerves? Maureen |
