Hi, Can anyone tell me if Chepstow is anywhere near Gloucester (Lydney)? Laurie |

Hi Laurie, Yes Chepstow borders Gloucestershire at Tidenham (I think). By road along the A48 it is about10/15 mile from Gloucester, the opposite side of the River Severn, the far end of the old Severn Bridge - got it? Ann Glos |

Thank you Ann you are a star. I was a bit confused on my gg grandfather, on the 1881 it says he was born in Lydney but the only birth I have been able to find is in Chepstow!! So it looks like this could be a possibilty. Laurie |
