Thanks Shelah I found that also but on 1901 census he was 12 and 1891 census he was 2. They were either late to register his birth or I am searching the wrong Benjamin. Dont know where to go now. Marie |

No Benjamins Longhursts in 1936 or 1st qtr of 1937. |

Sorry going ga ga too. His name was Benjamin Longhurst b:1889 hackney and was about 47 when he died of TB Marie |

Have you looked in the index for his death in 1936. Incidentally, I assume the ck in your surname is silent. Just my sewer of a mind working overtime. |

With a lot of help from everyone here and a little bit from me I have managed to find out details from my grandad,gt grandad, and grt grt grandad, but why is it I cant find how old they were when they died.My grandfather was born 1889 hackneyand died when my dad was a babe around 1936. I think they may have moved to Essex by then but cant find any notice of death. Help please Marie |
