Hi Patricia Here they are in 1891: 50 Parnell Road, Bow: Samuel E(?) Green, Head, 41, Commercial Traveller, b. Middlesex St Lukes; Mary L Green, Wife, 39, b. Middlesex, Shoreditch; Mary A Green, Mother, Wid, 94, b. Middlesex, London; Mary L Green, Niece, 14, Scolar, b. Ireland; Martha L Green, Sister in Law, Wid, 37, Machinist (Sewing), b. Middlesex St Lukes; Ernest A Bewergill, Nephew, 15, Asay Officer (Assistant), b. Middlesex St Lukes. Do you really believe Samuel's mother was 53 when he was born? Or is his age wrong? Best wishes, Stan |

I,ve had another look at the mother, and decided the age is 74, confused by the crossing out as part of the counting. That seems a lot more likely. There are only two other Samuel Greens, nowhere near the right age, so I think this must be the one. Stan |

Checked Grace Green, born Suffolk. Only 4 people in England of that name, oldest 15. She would have to be dead or changed her name - maybe second marriage, but more likely dead. Stan |

Hi Stan I have found Grace and the male children in 1901. She was living in Enfield with one of the boys. I need to know if Samuel was alive in 1891. To look for the death of someone with the name of Green is a mammoth task in a ten year period, let alone a twenty year one. If I ever remarry it will be to someone with a very unusual surname.lol.
