Elizabeth Ann Clilverd b.1825 d Dec 1881 Kensington, I cant find her on the 1881 and the death cert only states London as place of birth. I have quite a few Clilverds with records in the Kensington district that dont appear on the 1881 and was wondering if they were all one branch of the family,Flora b 1883, Kate b 1876 and Alice louisa and Jane Ann who were married in Kensington. the surname is frequently misspelled on the census and I was wondering if some kind soul with the discs could have a look for me? Please. (Husband is moaning about all the certs ive sent off for already) |

Alison Have you seen an Elizabeth Clifford on 1881, born London St James 1832? Could it be your Elizabeth married to Charles. Just a thought. Lynda |

Was she married or single? Do you know what she did for a living if she was single? Maz. XX |

I dont know what she did for a living , most of the Clilverd wives helped in their husbands buisness.3 of my Clilverd men are missing off the 1881 who had wives called Elizabeth and she could be single but I dont have baptism for an Elizabeth of that age. I think that an entire family is under a misspelled name as all the ones I have registered in Kensington are missing. I had this problem with a line in Stoke Poges who were under the name Clitunce, luckily they remained in the same house from 1851 onwards so I found them but I cant find anything on Elizabeth except a death cert which is absolutely no help. |
