Hi, If you've looked through the Parish records of St Leonards and not found the marriage or George's baptism there it may be worth seeing if George has a legal settlement in the parish. To find this you will need to search the Parish Chest papers at the County Record Office. Not all have survived so email the RO to see if they have them. Hope this helps, Gwynne |

I have a Baptism for Jemima Redhouse and her sister Elizabeth Redhouse both born 12 feb 1823, baptised 25 feb 1829 St leonards, shoreditch.(information from IGI) Father George Redhouse, mother ANN. I have Jemimas marriage and children, but i cant find anywhere George and Ann Redhouse. Just cant find any trace of them. Someone went to london to do some reserach and looked for me and they cant find them either. any idea where i can look now. please can anyone advise? many thanks lisa |
