What could 'other' be on IGI??

I have a marriage on the IGI in 1822 but 2 years previously there is a record for the same couple under the title 'other'. What could this be?? No other info is supplied

Hi, There are many errors on the IGI so anything you find there needs to be checked out. Have a look at the parish records of the place where the marriage(s) is meant to have taken place. Gwynne
