How can I find out about a certain Place, where my G.grandmother lived in 1914. It is down on both my grandmother and her sisters birth cert'. My father said he was in this place when he was first born, but that was back in 1938 not sure if it's some sort of home for unmarried mothers. ta Sharron |

Sharron, I have friends who have lived in Penrith all their lives so they may well know about Sandgate Foot. I have only lived here for 12 years so only know Sandgate as it is today. Will ask them when I see them on Thursday and come back to you. Ruth |
