I have a relative who I know was born in Brooklyn USA in 1884. I have traced her via the family search page and found her christening. What I would like now is to trace her birth date and possibly order a birth certificate. She was born to a British mother and I know was a British citizen. I dont know the nationality of her father and have been unable to trace him so far. Will she have an American birth certificate and if so how do I go about looking this up. Are there any US websites like our 1837 online and GRO. Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this. Penny |

Don't have any idea, sorry -- but perhaps someone else would know? So here's a nudge. |
