My great grandfather was called Walter Salter,(please no laughing!!) on the 1881 census his birth place is listed as SuttoN Hull and he was born approx 1859 but I cannot trace it. I have hit a complete brick wall. I know that he lived in Hull with his 1st wife Laura up until the late 1890's before moving to Grimsby to live with my g grandmother. Any ideas? Regards Jayne |
