Because of the data protection act records are only kept up to 1960. Thought about looking up her birth then realised it was her married name. I might go back Saturday. Loads of parish record pre 1837. Do you have a street name for her or her husbands name as I could look them up. I live in Strood so it is no problem. Shirley. |

Thanks Shirley, I haven't sent for her birth certificate yet but I'm fairly sure I have identified her and she was born in east London, so the Kent records wouldn't help. Her son (my cousin) is still alive and living in Rochester, but it's a side of the family we've had little contact with since my parents died 12 years ago, so I'm hesitating going to that source. So forget it for the moment, but many thanks for the offer. |
