Remember I was on here the other day trying to find out if the gentleman I had on a photo in WW1 uniform was my great Grandad? I had shown this pic to my Mum previously and she'd said she thought it looked like him but didn't know any more. Well with your brilliant help I was able to establish that he was wearing a Royal Army Medical Corps uniform. Mentioned this to Mum when she came for a coffee yesterday and she pipes up Ooooo yes he was in the Medical Corps. He was in the field hospitals in the Africa campaign. That's why there's such a big gap inbetween the birth of your great Aunt and your Grandma. Grrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!! Jeanette x |
