When viewing a website and a picture doesn't appear - all I get is a square with a red square, green circle and blue triangle inside it. Can some wise computer person tell me how to reveal the picture? Kathy

There's normally a problem with the page when you get that Kathy. Whoever runs the website will have to sort it. Ractom

if you get a white square with a red cross in it, it means the link to the pic has broken, but the one your getting means the pic is there but probably taking a while to show,,,try right clicking on it and click on show picture from menu it might help Rachael

When I scrolled up and down, one of the pictures did appear briefly. Then the rest of the symbols just turned to a red cross.

I get this sometimes. I was told its because I dont have Activex?

Thanks Rachael and Heather. The one picture is there all the time now but I've no chance with the others which have turned to a red cross only. How do you know if you have Activex? Kathy

No still getting Unknown Host message, and I did remove the brackets before. Kathy

I have this problem with STREETMAP Sometimes it works fine, othertimes all I get is no image and just the little cross. Suggestions please..! Peter

Hi all, the spain thing took about 20 seconds to load all 5 pics............Paul, all i got was cannot find server.........

Paul I think my ISP is under pressure/overloaded. I keep getting messages when booting up saying Works does not have sufficient memory to complete the task. Close some programs or restart computer - but I just cancel it and carry on.

Paul, On a serious noite, we have problems loading streetmap map images . Sometimes it loads the images, other times i get the square withe the cross at the top. So far nothing to hang it on. The problem has only occured since SP2, so it must be something to do with stopping pop ups or banners. Advice appreciated, Peter
