Yes, births are recorded in the Quarter they were registered so if she was born in Sept, probably registered in Oct, being the Quarter of Oct/Nov/Dec. The Quarters are titled March, June, September and December. Sarah x

the december quarter i believe covers october november and december so it may well be that she was born in september but not registered until after the end of the month

i'm not sure but i'm pretty sure it was around the peterbourgh area.do u think there is any poss she was named lilly but everyone called her lillian?my nan always knew her as lillian

sorry i dont know her mothers name all the info i have is she her name is lillian ethel brett,born in early 1900,married alfred arbon,had 6 kids,alfred,ken,june,owen,roland and alan

Can anyone help me?i have traced most of the family back quite a way but am stuck on my gt grandma,have no way of getting certs for her and really need to find out her mothers maiden name?any ideas?
