Can anybody work out where the following Staffordshire places are please. Elizabeth Not sure its Staffordshire but I did a search and came up with this site: http://www.dur.ac.uk/j.m.hutson/tudhoe/ It has photo for 1900 and the same shot in 2001 too! Have a look. Hope it helps Vikki xx

I'm scuttling thru census etc to try and get clues, alan has just walked in and says Pincel is near wolverhampton, apparently! But it isn't spelled quite like that he doesn't think ~Jess~

Marion - all the stuff on Google seems to refer to people called Tangye, not a place Victoria - I know where Tudhoe is - its the mysterious birthplaces that I can't fathom. I couldn't find them on my map so thought I'd ask if someone with local knowledge maybe recognised what they SHOULD be. Beth :)

Pensnett, Staffordshire Bramley- would guess Bromley Rachel/Rhoda= Bramley/Bromley in a black counry accent to someone in Durham !!
