if u need childrens homes!!

I was recommended a website from some one at myfolks.net (also a good site) for people looking for family that were put into childrens homes or orphanages. They charge an initial non refundable fee of £20 and then they search all their records with the info you have given, they can then offer you a full info pack. Unfortunately they can only tell you about that person not any other family members. But it would give you a starting point just having the info on one of them. The website to visit is www.barnardos.org.uk and you can write to Dorothy (click on contact) and tell her exactly what you're looking for. Hope this helps anyone who was stuck like i was.

You get A full History package which includes: Admission History Record Book entries Precis Individual photos Location photos placement details info sheets, If you want this package they ask for a further £30 but if your stuck and they find out all this info about someone for you i think it is well worth the buy wouldnt you say.

I think its sad they charge so much money for what people have a right to know about themselves. I know Barnardos do a fantastic job and ned funding, but its a shame for people on a low wage or unemployed.....
