The 1857 girl may be this one: 1861 census Daniel Isaac abt 1851 Yeovil, Somerset, England Son Yeovil Somerset Eliza Isaac abt 1825 Bridport, Dorset, England Wife Yeovil Somerset Eliza Isaac abt 1857 Yeovil, Somerset, England Daughter Yeovil Somerset George Isaac abt 1853 Yeovil, Somerset, England Son Yeovil Somerset William Isaac abt 1805 Exeter, Devon, England Head Yeovil Somerset Thomas Legg abt 1840 Bridport, Dorset, England Nephew Yeovil Somerset So wrong parents, but may turn out to be related in any case!! Pity about that but at least that's her eliminated. As you say she could have been Elizabeth - she was apparently most insistant that the grand daughters who were named after her were called Eliza and was most upset if anyone ever called them Lizzie. Margaret
