Barbara Report 10 Sep 2005 02:07

Valerie, the 1901 Canadian census is at http://automatedgenealogy(.)com/index.html. You can view the actual images online for free and they are transcribing the 1911 at the moment too. If you have a microfilm number The archives here in Canada will do Inter library loan and send it to a library near you, the trouble is that you library has to pay all the costs and from talking to others on this site who have enqiuired the libraries in UK are reluctant to do this. If you scroll across the image of 1901 census it may tell you when they emmigrated and from where. hope this is some help. Barbara
