Hi Heather There is a lady on GR with her in her tree, she has had the same problem as I have in finding her birth, she will be interested in the birth/baptism which you found for Susannah as we didnt know about her, it is interesting because in later years the name Susannah appears, but it is not her, because from the sites you have introduced me to I have found her death. Funnily enough I havent googled her, but am going to give it a try Thanks for all you suggestions and help regards Ann

I guess you have tried googling just in case someone else is producing a tree with that person???

Hi Heather I have had a look at both and there are lots of Temples on there, and all the ones in Gt Snoring are mine. We were the only Temple family in GS. We were later ( in the 1881 )the only Temple family in Rossendale, now there hundreds of them. I think I will take your advise and email NRO, Many thanks for all your help Ann

Only suggestion being if its not on any of the online facilities (as detailed) then you could email Norfolk RO and ask them to photocopy it for you. Cost me about a fiver last time. I think you have looked at free reg - the one I recommended with all the Temples but have you checked out the baptism project (its slowly adding stuff for Norfolk - none of mine yet but Jay - above - says Snoring is on there).

Hi Jay & Heather What a fantastic site, all the Temples on there are mine, I already have most of them, Gt S is such a small place. It is a shame that pre 1813 isnt on there yet. Elizabeth is proving to be such a problem and appears to be quite flighty ( likes her men ) I have put the site is my favourites and will try to print the page when I get home ( I am at work ) So I am still looking for Elizabeth, do you have any suggestions. Many thanks for your help Ann

Great Snoring bp 1812 -1880 have been transcribed and are on this site: Norfolk Baptism Project. Google N..B...P... and then click on the link. Parishes are arranged alphabetically - You want S for Snoring. Happy hunting Jay

Hi Heather The only place I have looked, (as NRO is far away) , is on the LDS site, Elizabeth Temple married John Bray in 1828 in Great Snoring, this was after she had 2 sons, I didnt know about the daughter you have spotted, it could well be her. Ann

Could someone please look for the birth/baptism of Elizabeth Temple born c1794 in Great Snoring, this lady was my 4th Gt grandmother and is proving to be very illusive. Many thanks Ann
