Do a BT search, including any known family members, who may be living nearby.

Tried this for somebody in Scotland quite successfully recently. http://www(.)discountedorfree(.)co(.)uk/Detailed/87(.)html?code=S01 (all one line, remove brackets) If I recall you have to register but at least it's free, and don't forget to bookmark the page as you won't get it back via their home page. Good Luck, Colin.

You could write a letter to the local newspaper for the area where they lived in 1968 asking if anyone who knew them at that time knows of their present whereabouts. I was successful in finding the daughter of my grandfather from his second marriage in this way. I got an email on the same night the letter was printed in the newspaper. Kath. x
