Thanks to you all for your tips and suggestions. Perhaps I should try and look for a marriage between Paul Lowe and female Creese to see if thats where he got the name from.

Steph, I remember this one!! I think I took some photos of the street where they lived and the Tabernacle church for you? I would desperately love to know the answer to this mystery. Please let me know if you find out. I have been trying to cross reference any marriage to Lowe and Crease but no luck. Will try Hood as well. Have you tried cross checking any other maiden names in the family??? I will be going to bed wondering about this lot!! Selena
