Paul Mawson Robert South Shields.10a 1366 Marriage Q4 1900 Mcgeorge Margaret South Shields.10a 1366 Marriage Q4 1900 If you send off for their marriage certificate, you will get their fathers' names. Suzy PS I have had a look at the 1901 census, but there are quite a few Margarets and Roberts.

If you have seen any of my previous posts you will probably know that i became stuck when researching my family tree on my Fathers side. I have since ordered and received my Grandfathers birth certificate but I seem to have hit a blank again. My Grandfather - John Thomas Mawson was born on the 16th April 1908. His father is listed as Robert William Mawson (coal miner) and his Mother is listed as Margaret Mawson (formerly McGeorge). How can I take this branch of my family tree further? All help will be very much appreciated.
