Computer help please - CPU usage ?????

Can anyone explain to me please (in VERY simple terms ) what is CPU usage? My computer keeps freezing and I have to reboot - I believe it is something to do with Internet Explorer and CPU usage which fluctuates between 2% and 100% when this happens.(according to the Task Manager screen, which comes up when I try control+alt+delete )- I cannot then end task and have to switch off and restart. Any suggestions please? Thanks, Dea x |
