Family Relatives-What is wrong??????

If you look on their website they do state they log you out after 20 mins. However every website I know of has problems with automatic time outs. Family Relatives is bad, you should try Family Origins...........I nearly hung myself.....never use that thing again |

I always get the timing-out problem despite following all the instructions to prevent this happening including allowing familyrelatives.org specifically to use cookies. Is there any thing else I can do? |

Julie, If you set you privacy to medium or medium high you should be ok with the site. Also, it will block any cookies that are looking for information without your implicit consent. BTW if your getting SPAM or pop-ups you'd be far better of using Mozilla's Firefox for internet and Thunderbird for e-mail. |

I have had the same trouble and not been able to access the site Husband has loaded a PC guard provided by the ISP which has thankfully dramatically reduced the amount of spam we get. Does that mean I will have to allow all this horrible spam in in order to gain access?. |

Above the box that says 'block pop ups' should be a button you can slide up and down, it will say one of the following: Block All Cookies High Medium High Medium etc etc etc What is that set to ? |

I must be stupid cos I cannot find the privacy tab-jennifer-hang on got it-so should I allow pop ups or is that wrong-not very good today-supposed to be getting ready for a wedding reception but stuck on here-be getting wrong any time now-oops. |

It is something to do with cookies not being enabled - I had a News Letter from them this morning where they talked about how to put it right. Hazel |
