You do have to wear the red tinsel G String though, its only right and proper. (Gawd, Pamela is probably makinga note that Jess is a pervert!) |

Well if this is a party for mature woman I'm not coming. I think we need to have another hands up and distinguish who forgot to do that last little bit of growing up. I'm first on the list. Please give me your names so I can add Rebellious Elf On another note, I think we should leave the rings around the bath Merry. It's could be multi-functional. 1-adds a decorative touch to the vessel punch is made in. 2-adds a vintage flavour 3-we might get a shiny rainbow film over the surface of said punch, adding a touch of color. Mavbev, the size 18's are all yours...........did I mention they were a delightful puce color? Hiya invisible Kat! lol!!! loved the card, great inspiration for travelling arrangements. Rebs x |

It was only Keith who said we were mature.....I expect it was a ref to the Tena? Merry (very immature) |

Please detour over Cornwall invisble one with bells on - how will we know you are there if you are ...erm...invisible? If you happen to arrive before the main party ,(gawd knows how long Merry is going to take) clear up the garden a bit, cant bear the thought of brambles wearing just a tinsel G string and balaclava |

All downhill to Cornwall, remember?! You will get their first, Jess, courtesy of the pram wheels I fixed to the roof boxes this morning. I will get their a bit later on my skiing commode with huskies. Am getting myself a balaclava too.....more fetching on the TV news bulletin, esp with the tinsel...... Merry |

All downhill to Cornwall??? Well that really says a lot doesn't it. As long as it was only Keith mentioning maturity. He was probably being polite. Always the gentleman is Keith. I'm a bit concerned over this single nipple tassle thing. One nip has the warmth of a tassle and the other what........drops off from the cold? I'm sure somewhere I've got a supply of cotton nursing pads my MIL passed on since she had finished with them. Perhaps we can sew the tassles to them and cover both sides up. The Invisible one has been invited to France, so perhaps she will do a quick pitstop as she passes through from Linc. Is my geography improving??? Also, I don't yet have much use for tenas-although I daresay I will have by the time this event is over-so I've got out the glitter fabric paints, and decorated them with snowflake designs. Now I'm sewing them all together in a kind of patchwork creation thingy. I will need something to keep me warm whilst I'm flying in my balloon. Rebs x |

Excellent geography, Rebs....nearly as good as mine! I hadn't really taken in the nipple tassle(s) before ........who suggested that?? Maybe I can wear one over my full length combinations (you know, the sort with a flap and button at the rear......) Merry |

Just spotted a flaw in the travel arrangements... If Merry is being towed by Huskies, who in turn are being towed by Bobbin...how is Bobbin getting to Merry's in order to lead the Huskies? If Jess has to take Bobbin to Merry's....look, you can see how silly this is getting. Jess: If Merry was to stand on her roof waving a large juicy bone and shouted VERY LOUDLY 'Bobbin! Bobbin! Heeeeeere Bobbin, good doggeeeeee'' could Bobbin be trusted to go straight there and how long would it take her? (I wouldn't risk sending Bobbin by Royal Mail, just look where Bev's Mum landed up, she's on my sofa at the moment and has just asked me for the umpteenth time 'Is it C----- yet?) Keith - sorry, I missed your posting, and of course you are invited, but you will have to be an honorary woman - do you have a drag outfit? The offer of your black tree is graciously accepted, I shall decorate it with the sweetie wrappers from the half-eaten tin of Quality Street, fashioned into cunning little bows. Bit worried about poor Pamela, she doesn't seem to know what's going on - does she sound like the sort of person we want, or is she of the crowd we are trying to leave behind us? Olde Crone |

OC - Maybe Pamela could take charge of Bev's mum, if you haven't got rid of her by then? I was going to drive my huskies, whilst sitting on the skibottommed commode and towing the two roof boxes, to Jess's abode......then put Jess in one box and ask Bobbin if he wishes to run or sit in comfort? If running, then he goes with the huskies and if not, he sits in the more comfortable roof box for a pleasant journey. Then it's down hill/wind (?) all the way........... Jess, I have now had no sprouts or curry for several days and shall continue in the same vein until C-day..... Merry |

Crone. No my dear , you have misunderstood I have a double decker roof box thinggy on wheels Bobbin in the top box, me in the lower deck. Merry has fitted it with pram wheel today to aid in the moving process but i am concerned that she has forgotten a fundamental requirement - some method of steering. So unless cornwall is 'straight on ' i'm going to have a problem! Bobbin cant find her water dish with a map and a magnifing glass so there is little hope of her finding Merry, big bone or not! She'll far prefer the comfort of her roof box and has packed her blanket ready |

Oops - I called Bobbin ''he''......Sorry Bobbin :O(( Steering gear...........hmmmmmmmm................Aah! Two pieces of string tied to each end of the front wheel axle and two holes through the front end of the bottom roof box. Eat your heart out Wallace and Grommit.........!! Don't suppose the string will break too many times before Cornwall? If it does, then try red tinsel instead. Merry |

Phew! Glad that's sorted, was a bit worried about Bobbin hurtling up the M-wotsit on her own, trying to find Merry. And that sounds a good idea, yes, Pamela can be in charge of Bev's mum - mind you, she hasn't actually said she wants to come? I am NOT repeat NOT wearing a red tinsel Gstring, not at my age and anyway, it sounds too much like my ex's attempts at a C---- pressie. to be comfortable, in more senses than one. So, all that remains for me to do is a quick shuftie down the Tip - lots of people buy new sofas at C--- and chuck out perfectly good, hardly damp ones. Olde Crone |

OC, is your penchant for recycling a genetic trait? You're beginning to sound suspiciously like my step father [who is a Holden] .............................retires back into cupboard with earmuffs and another bottle of Baileys ........................................................................................ wake me up when its all over |

I think Bevs mum has already been put on a ferry that was pointed in a southerly direction. Or at least it will be after she has a word to the captain. Olde Crone, do try to get the type that pops out to a bed. Save a lot of hassles with sleeping arrangements, we can all sleep where we pass out. does that mean you're passing on the tassles as well? |
