it is possible for him to be known by another name? there is a John Osborn 1844, Gidleigh, living with his sister Johanna & her husband George. there is also a James Osborn, 1841 Gidleigh, lodger do you know his occupation?

I'm missing my GGGrandfather on the 1861 census. He is on every one from cradel to the grave except this one. I have his family but he's not with them, I've tried first name only, last name only, wildcards and soundex - but nothing, starting to think he was overseas or had been abducted by aliens .............................. Aaron Osborn(e) Born c. 1842 Gidley/ Anyesworthy, Devon ..........................
